Orienteering 1:48:12 [4] 10.9 km (9:56 / km)
ahr:148 max:207
lost my SI stick and the garmin apparently didn't record the map. the garmin pisses me off more than the stick, honestly. had a couple good routes, but also had a few moments i was genuinely curious about reviewing. put another way, i also had some real bad routes. think i had one where i might've been looking at the wrong end of the compass. one real bad route, one or two sub par ones, but otherwise some decent orienteering. 26 minutes and change spent looking for the stick, i'll call it 85:00 on the day, ~6.3mi. the 207 max HR is clearly hogwash.
bah, pissed. the no track thing really burns my toast. at least i have splits. only had to make two guesses - 7-8-9 was one big split, and i had to eyeball the division at 8. from 9 to 10 i got within sight and 20 feet from the flag before learning i lost my stick and taking a split, so that was actually pretty close. rounded up a bit for being a putz.
the damn thing says it's memory is full, and it's only got the 1:48 race, and a 38 minute run. the memory can hold ~3:30 at one sample/second. and i can see the breadcrumb trail on the map, i think. i'm convinced the data's in there.
and i can view the laps on the map. so i'm right, which is a bucket of helpful.
-- lost the maps on the watch before i had a chance to copy 'em. all i have left are lap distances, in miles
