Hiking 16:48 [3] 2.59 km (6:29 / km)
Brisk-walked gate to gate along the Nepaug dam road. Sore on right side, both on rear side and front inner. I should learn the names of these bothersome tissues. Not a challenging venue, but I hadn't done it for about 8 or 9 years since I used to walk the corgis there. The clear cut along the road certainly changes the appearance.
Jogging 12:53 [3] 1.58 km (8:09 / km)
After walking the Nepaug dam road eastward, I decided to try jogging back to the car. Same soreness but obviously amplified. Could not move quickly or lengthen stride. Seemed to be wagging to the right in my limp, so I tried forcing a leftward wag to even things out. Soreness abated but I might attribute that to just warming up. No energy, considered pulling back to a walk but toughed it out the whole way. True, I was handicapping myself by wearing jeans, flannel shirt, fleece and a leather jacket, latter two unzipped, and I pulled the hat off for cooling. Steady breathing, didn't knock myself out, good sweat and aerobics.
