Run to the Dingle with Bulletdog, K/O, Luscious, Boston Rob and the gang. Rob and I continued on to K2 at a decent pace. I did an extra lap after to get some more time on feet.

Misc (Trail Work) 2:00:00 [1]

Went to the IMBA trail-building course at Albion Hills.
Learned some interesting stuff, then out into the rain and muck with the tools. We re-routed the first bit of singletrack in Albion. The first pass flags the trail, the second removes sensitive species like wild leeks and Jack in the Pulpit plants, then the clearing begins. The removed plants are transplanted carefully into the old trail after breaking it up, and then branches and leaf mulch is raked back on. I couldn't recognize trails I've ridden for 5 years!
4 hours of work, but counted half.

Short of time so I booted it straight home. Had a PB even with the net uphill run home and a heavy pack. Didn't have my HRM so it may have been a 4 or 5.

Easy trot to work with the 2 dogs.
I was hoping for a much longer run, but a huge thunderstorm made me late, and I ended up running straight to work in steady rain.
Probably a zone 2, except for T-dog's exploration breaks.

Rode up Col de Galibier with Vino this morning.

Hot, smoggy day after a hard race- good day for nothing more than stretching and balance work.

Took the 5/5 Podium 'Bent bike into Gandalf's workshop for some upgrades before the big races start.
