(Copied from Facebook - dot watching details.) Tomorrow Richard Ehrlich and I start Ultra Tour Monte Rosa - a mountain run around the 2nd highest Alp, passing through Switzerland and Italy. We're doing it as a 4-day stage race with a total distance of 170 km and 11,300 meters of elevation gain.
For anyone interested in watching our live GPS trackers, we'll start Tues. midnight Ontario time (6 am Wed. in Switzerland). We have 12 hrs to finish each stage. Stage 2 starts Wed. midnight Ontario time, etc. My bib# is 518; Richard's is 533. GPS tracking is here.

On Day 1, we go from Grächen to Zermatt, Switzerland. On Day 2, we finish in Gressoney, Italy. We go to Macugnaga, Italy on Day 3, and we finish the circuit back at Grächen on Day 4.
So far we've met runners from Japan, Scotland, the Netherlands, the U.S., England and Switzerland. Looking forward to the adventure!
