Running (Track) 40:00 [3]
shoes: Orange Sauconys
Cinder track workout.
1 mile at 7:40 pace, follwed by 1/2 mile of special running.
Next I intended to run 5 laps at 5 min pace, alternating with recovery laps at 7:30 pace. I had trouble making the splits, and stopped after 4 laps. First 2 splits where over. Last two splits where under, but at full intensity.
Not sure if it was the lingering cold, lack of good speed work for past 2 months, or lack of a good lunch. Probably all 3 to blame, but it still felt discouraging. Looking over my past workouts, it was still the fastest interval work I've done recently - I can definetly build from here.
