West Point A meet Day 2
With the family getting back on a healthy track I managed to sneak out for a couple of hours in the morning.
Nice and demanding orienteering as expected. Especially physically it felt tough today.
Quite an unstable run that started with some additional meters already at 2. At 4 I just wasn't confident enough to keep going for another 20-30m which added ca 3.5min and other swings followed directly after in the circle at 5 and 6.
Was already getting seriously tired around 9 and after 12 it was more a "somehow you need to finish" rather than orienteering.
It seems the nights without sleep and the lack of training become more and more apparent, especially in tough running races. Will try to get some more running sessions in over the next couple of weeks.
Still enjoyed very much to be out there on a perfect day with temps in the 70s already at 9am.
