Missed recording the first 6 minutes of the run past control 1 toward 2. Some very challenging controls with the green, and some faster trail legs. A bit of contouring and some legs that compass kept reasonable.
Lost time on C2, with everyone else. Passed it above and below before finding the rootstock in the green. Dumb choice on C4; too confident and wend straight over the small hill but it was too hard to hold my line and too thick to see the control. Eventually pushed through to the trail and reattacked. C10 close but didn't have a good enough feel for the distance C13 no rootstock by the trail, ran past, came back attacked but not far enough and then returned to a pit and reattacked fine. C16 to C17 - just retched. Took a tentative and very poor angle to get to the trail. Then was uncertain as to which trail I hit (and should have known), leading to 10 min of wasted time.
Still, very fortunate to win red by 8 sec.

About 80 degrees but a very light breeze kept me cooled down. Carefully regulated my effort to see if I could keep going, and...Yeah! The entire run with no dizziness breaks. First time in a very long time, not taking bets on whether it can be repeated.
It was also the fastest long run since I started doing these.
