Commute. Was going to go running this morning, but when Paula loaded Annie into the back of the car, she closed the hatchback door onto the bridge of her nose. Blood everywhere! She is okay, but it left a notch in the bridge of her nose. At least her glasses won't slide down anymore!

Warmup with Paula and Annie at Philomath HS. Got lots of "poppers" from one of the oak trees in the park. That is what we call the oak galls that fall to the ground in the fall. They pop when you stomp on them.
Running intervals 16:00 [4]

4x4 min intervals. Was not able to get the heart rate as high as I wanted. Must be fatigued from the meet this weekend.

Commute. First ride of the year in the dark. Could hear migrating geese overhead.

Day 2 US Classic Champs
Had a 12 minute mistake on one of the controls. As I was bailing out, I figured out where I was. Also made a 2 minute mistake elsewhere. My 2 day total put me in 5th place is which is the best I have done in a long time. Usually I do myself in somehow. Had an enjoyable time except when extracting my self from the thorns. Quantico put on a nice meet!
