Short course with lots of controls. I decided to treat this as a practice sprint. I wanted to run hard and see what I could do.
I started off hard (probably too hard). Once I got into the woods I slowed down to a good run pace. Unfortunately I got to the 5th control and my left calf started hurting so I had to slow down. I thought about just stopping but it didn't seem too bad is I didn't push off hard on my left foot. I tried to keep moving but not push it.
Few controls were not optimal (mishung or hung on features that shouldn't have been used). One bingo control that luckily for me had someone punching so I could see it.
