Took another day off but went to the Bills game which involved a fair amount of walking, which ended up being hit or miss on a minute-by-minute basis. For the drive home to Penfield I was comfortable sitting for the first time in a while and at home I was walking with no pain at all, so I am hopeful that this is not a device issue and was just a matter of overdoing it.

P=156, C=73 On Nate's Peloton. 45 min House Ride. Started out very cautious because of the way my hip has felt and the concern that the device may be compromised. But during the warm-up I was able to slowly ramp up over 100 rpm on low resistance with no pain and later I was able to get the resistance up to 60 or higher with no apparent problems, even at 80+ rpm.

Walking around during our XC meet which was back at Mendon East (two weeks in a row after not having been scheduled to race there in ten years!). After an initial look at part of the course, I went back to my car to get the cane to get around during the races.
Some other teams were not so strong and the good teams sat their varsity in order to be able to race at invitationals this weekend, so we dominated the day. This meet was moved to Thursday to accommodate Brighton but they didn't bother to run any boys that could break 24:00.
Day off as the hip pain continues. Called to make an appointment yesterday and the surgeon who did my resurfacing can see me in April, but got an appointment with the PA in January. Not sure I can wait that long with this pain.
