Really nice Green Y course set by Tom O...unfortunately I didn't do very well on it. Got there extra early and went out earlier than my start time.

#3 too low, not sure of myself
#5 stone wall - didn't attack well and got confused, took me a while, relocated from trail, found other part of stone wall and attacked from there
#6 this was my worst, the pit. i kept wondering what black dots meant...i even looked on the legend but didn't see description. so stupid, the veg boundary of those big pines, which i looked at and thought, where is that on the map. duh. finally after relocating to a trail several times, wyatt came flying by and i heard the beep. i had been close. can't wait to see the RG for this. 27 min on this one! :( i don't remember if the control was down in the pit or on the side of it, that's how much my brain wants to forget this one.

Everything else fine, just slow. Ankle twist, a fall, and back hurting. Felt really wobbly after all that climb. Keim and I were tight at the end, and she sped ahead of me during the run in, wow she is fast!! Nice job, Julie.

Great job to Tom O and all the other volunteers who represent our club and show that we put on good A meets. I'm proud to be a DVOA member even if DVOA might not be proud to have me as one. ;)

What a fun day! Helped at registration, then ran #2 leg on the Furious Foxes 9-pt team. Made some small errors, but mostly just had no energy. I did manage to pass 2 other Brown leg runners that started ahead of me :) All in all, a really super course over meadows and through beautiful woods, with only a few briar scratches. The whole thing was well organized and a great experience. Kudos to all the DVOA members who pulled today off. Thanks for the great day.

GO FF! When I get my map back I will analyze more.
