Gym 50:00 [3]

Brazilian JuJitsu workout at theMonkey Bar. Ouch!!
Crawling, jumping & dragging body across the mat & running back. Core portion was 30 minutes to see how many cycles we could do in that time. Killer combination left me again nauseous after and sore for days. Love it though.

Gym (core) 57:00 [3]

Oh gawd, what have I done? ... signed up for another club.
Got invited to attend a 6:30 "gym class" taught by my sister Polly. My reason was to see her do her training instruction to mostly satisfy my big brother curiosity. I had no illusions that it would be anything but brutal so I tried to pace myself.
The whole thing started fast with this fancy footwork through rope ladder laid on floor and I was anaerobic by 6:31. The main circuit entailed 6 stations where we spent an eternal minute with a few seconds in between. There was pulling bungees out of the wall, jumping side to side over a ball, waving large ropes along the floor, crab walks, situps and running in place. I can't recall ever being so nauseous after a workout. I didn't want to embarrass Polly so I forced myself to make chit-chat, all the while truly holding down my stomach.
By the time I recovered from my hypoxia, a tall, thin brunette had my credit card run for a month membership. Should be a good thing to turn around my training while I am up here. We'll see.

Bike (mtn.) 1:06:00 [3] 14.1 mi (4:41 / mi)

Ride along the Capital City trail to the Sheraton & back. Beautiful evening for a ride... sailed down, then humped back uphill & into the wind. Felt ok.
