Bike (spin) 1:00:00 intensity: (33:00 @2) + (20:00 @3) + (7:00 @4)

different instructor than last week; better music but didn't like starting with intervals. This burned my tired & rusty bike legs and I could not push very hard for the rest of the hour. I did like the visualization work though.

Run (road) 34:00 [2] 3.7 mi (9:11 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno WR 610

Took an easy jog following the spin. Perfect morning for it though still quite dark.

Bike (road) 2:00:00 [2]

To Highland Park to buy a cycle computer. Grrrr, they were 25% more than the online stores (where I also pay no tax or shipping) so I just biked home.

Bike (mtn) 17:00 [2]

to/from gym.

Lift (up) 22:00 [4]

Circuit plus a second set on two machines with heavy load. Usually I just do light weights / high reps.

Aquajog 7:00 [2]

Probably shouldn't even count this but I meant to go longer when a muscle twinge behind me knee was enough to cancel the set.

Swim 25:00 [2]

Got warmed-up into a decent set with a good stroke today. I forget why I didn't finish but found the jacuz on the way out.

Bike (road) 2:00:00 [2]

Cloudy, cooler & breezy so I turned around pretty soon to go get my windbreaker. Lonely ride after such a fun weekend with so many good folks. Got to thinking about the colossal amount of work that goes into an a-meet. Although I never took meets to which I traveled for granted, now I certainly never will. I thought through the jobs performed by each the volunteers and was amazed at how much work so many had done. But my "hat comes off" furthest for Michael Collins for his yeoman's effort over the prior months as well as the whole meet day weekend. Thanks Michael... just don't get in front of me again when I am late for my start... ;-)
