Chicago Clubs City O/ rogaine??
4 hour event, could of done less time, could of used a bike or even public transportation for this.
Fun and tough day. Lots of interesting stuff to see while doing the course today. Went through and past lots of people, including the Chicago triathlon going on.
Maricel and I started out together, but I made a wrong turn on a street and was on my own. Till we ran into each other and continued together. The controls punchs were to be written answers on paper. The control I did not go by, I saw the answer from a bridge across the river. Is that cheating??
Easy control pickup :-)
Maricel says he was only doing the 2 hour and I talked him into the 4 hour.
So we continued working together, or me trying hard to stay with him.
Thanks to some traffic stops so I could catch up.
Doing 30k after yesterday's 13k made for a lot of O this weekend.
Afterward a dip in Lake Michigan and dinner at a great restaurant in Chicago with the Bike champ and his wife made for one of my best days in the city ever!

Drove to Indiana park that borders Michigan for the meet today. I did the blue course 10.6k
Interesting park along the St Joes River. This was a new map that was quite accurate.
Thick and thorny in sections with some semi bingo controls. Some nice trails to run on to some of the controls. I heard they might use this for a ski O!! That would be awesome!!
Long time for me to be out, but fun overall.
Dog run with Katie at Bristol Woods. What's up, too nice of a day and lots of people. That means I had to stop when encounter people and slip on dog leash. Ugh
