Orienteering Meet race 32:45 [5] *** 2.9 mi (11:18 / mi) +80m 10:24 / mi
spiked:12/13c shoes: Ice Bug 1

middle distance event, and this was an awesome area just to the southwest of Calagary. I was very cautious the whole run trying not to trip and fall.
Turned out pretty good as I was 2nd out of 18 in my age group. Nice comeback after 2 months of no orienteering

Orienteering Meet race 16:35 [5] *** 2.3 km (7:13 / km)
spiked:15/15c

Sprint event and this was fast and fun. Lots of trails to use so this fell into my strength. 1st in age group. Surprise!

Hiking 5:00:00 [3] 12.0 mi (25:00 / mi)

Hike Grinnell Glacier, this was an awesome hike, had to get wet crossing near a waterfall on the trail, had a little scare as some folks below yelled bear, but it was really a fallen boulder that would of killed someone it hit. We had lunch at the glacier and on the way back finally spotted some grizzly bears standing or sittin in front of an obvious den/cave. best three hikes I have done in forever.

Hiking 3:00:00 [2] 7.0 mi (25:43 / mi)

Glacier National Park, today we tried to hike the high line trail, but the shuttle was filled, so we headed back to the campground and took a another great hike up the swift current pass. We stopped and had lunch with the loons at Bullhead lake and hiked back. dragging a bit today so the hike was shortened.

Running 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Theodore Rosevelt National Park North Dakota. We stopped in and toured a bit and hit the Jones Creek Trail for a nice little out and back run. Very Nice!
Bummer about the Oak Creek murders just 20 or so miles from where I live.
