Control pickup in some of my earlier areas, but a few different controls.

Orienteering Meet race 1:13:19 [4] *** 6.8 km (10:47 / km) +72m 10:14 / km

Deer Grove and the opening season for regular local meets. Superfast put on an awesome course in our improving woods here. I was steady but not very fast and ended up in 2nd place 11 min behind Maricel. Some others would of had faster times but miss punched the last control and or took a long time finding the first control. Great day weather wise.

Orange course at Deer grove. I just wanted another workout like a sprint, but it was fairly long and somewhat techincial. I did have some same controls and even the same leg near the end as the red course. I actuall took a mud slide that made me almost look like a pig. Ye haw.

No energy to get going, maybe it the naproxen I am taking for my shoulder.

OMG my track distance divas all have lower leg issues, so instead of going to the park to run hills, they talked me into riding stationary bikes. So I used a treadmill, while they rode and we did 8X 1:30 minutes pickups.
What a shame as it was 80 degrees out.

Road Riding tempo 41:00 [4] 10.5 mi (3:54 / mi)

Had to ride my new/used speed racer. Bad news is it kills my shoulder issue. But an MRI tomorow will tell the damages.

Monday Mar 19, 2012 #

Running intervals 13:30 [5] 3.6 km (3:45 / km)

Track workout for speed...5X200 followed by an 800. We did this twice.
The 200's were avg :40 and the 800's avg were 3:25...Feeling pretty good on a perfect day to run outside.
