Whew. Even a couple weeks ago, I was tempted to try to run (waddle) green, but dropping down to brown this weekend was definitely the right choice. Overall, I felt like my execution was fairly solid, but walking and having a 1:10000 definitely helped. My goal for all weekend (and throughout the week) was to focus on using good habit patterns and identifying areas where I was on the cusp of making a mistake, then forcing myself to find and execute a better plan, rather than relying on "hope" as a route choice (as in: "I'll just exit the control in a vague direction and *hopefully* I'll see these catching/funneling features").
