shoes: Salomon SpeedCross3 (Papaya)

Fabulous last run in Sedona. A friend posted on my fb to head over to devil's bridge, and when we looked it up we saw we could run it straight from the villa. It was wonderful!
Great weather and photo ops.
Dee and I headed back together and took a little detour. Had to double back and even did a mini bushwhack. Guess who was leading? If you guessed me, you'd be right. :)
Can't wait to see the GPS track.
12 PM

yoga 15:00 [1]

Solo yoga on the terrace, in the sun with sunglasses on. Bliss.

Mrs. Gally bootcamp with Dee & Mia.
We might not be able to hang on to our handlebars later.

mtb 3:00:00 [3] 21.5 km (7.2 kph) +403m

Beautiful but tough first mountain bike of the season on a technical level with the gang.
We road around cathedral rock to chicken point. If you Google ride the white line you will see a crazy video of 5 riders that rode this ledge. Crazy.
On our way down I took an aggressive line by "accident" instead of the "easier" side trail and ended up on an unexpected rock drop which ended up with an unexpected first undo of the season. As the front whell dropped so did my knees hard on to the red rock, followed by the bike over my head.
Any confidence I had managed by then was gone.
But you can't get too sucky with these views and company.
5 PM

yoga 20:00 [1]

Power yoga by Mrs. Gally on the terrace with Bash and Mia, which included 16 pushups.

Great day in the Grand Canyon.
Down along the Kaibab trail. As I was bomhing down the trail just behind Gally, 2 men dressed in very ultra gear were coming. The long haired, bread, bandana wearing one smiled at me and "Nice work." I said "Thanks, you too". Once the rest got down, Bash & 'Bent wondered if that was Anton Krupicka. I'd really like to think so, but looking at in now I don't. :) But I can always pretend. ;)
We then proceeded onto the Tonto trail, which was many flat, with some rolling and a final descent.
Just as we approached the end of this trail I rolled my ankle again. Hurt like heck. I yelled back to Dee to get ready to hand me the aleve, which I given to her earlier for her foot. It was like we were passing it bak and forth like a baton in a relay. We were making great time so did an extra side out and back to pacific rim to a great lookout, before starting the 7k ascent up to the south rim.
Perfect temps and lots stops for pics.
Ended wth a great mexican dinner & margaritas at Javelina's.

shoes: Ryka Flextra

Yay Jesse is back!
6 PM

spinning 25:00 [2]

I have never walked out on an instructor, but I can't take this girl. The work out is boring, but I can ramp that up. What I can't control is the music and her incessant yapping. The music was tribal yoga music the type you hear at a Kundalini yoga dance party. Which I have enjoyed in Fernie, but does not work for me in a spin class.

Note
(injured)

Left ankle.
Not horrible, but definitely had to forgo the training plans for today & maybe tomorrow to ensure that it is in good shape for Sedona. :(
