Note

Possible training at Harriman this weekend. Or stay and work on Rosaryville map. Potentially tough choice. Update - balance tipped to DC by reminder that my nieces will be in the area for a week starting July 13th.

Out to Rosaryville from Metro and back. Then home after another evening visiting my nieces and their entourage.

More carrying a GPS around Rosaryville SP - the trail network is denser even than I'd realised. Fortunately, since the woods are quite thick over much of the map.

4x1200m I intervals on grass in 4:27, 4:30, 4:30 and 4:37. I think overnight muscle glycogen depletion caught up with me on the fourth one. Nice to know I can go faster under better (dryer and lighter) conditions than my last such workout. Otherwise, I'd be concerned about overtraining.

Cycling to work, home and out for some shopping and a raid on the Cleveland Park library.

All I could stand to do while watching TDF before finally having dinner. Only abdominal stuff.

To work by way of the Takoma Aquatic Center. Home by way of AFI - watched "Legendary Weapons of China", a somewhat more realistic than usual Shaw Brothers wuxia film from the seventies.

4 lengths of front crawl, the rest flutter kicking.

In two blocks separated by some flutter kicking.
