Commute plus some fruitless visits to DC libraries occasioned by wanting to reread a book I knew they have and have had for months but just discovered they have never bothered to enter in their online catalogue, preventing me from checking which branches might have copies on the shelves. On past form, complaining about how ludicrous that is would net me a suggestion that I ought to then call the libraries in question and ask the librarians to look at the shelves for me. This being DC, I suppose I might even not be interrrupting them doing something productive if I were to do so. It's nice that lobbying got the library system a budget increase for next year; I just wish I had more confidence in the people who will be spending the money.

Also, Pat, consider yourself forgiven on Canada's behalf for wanting to see countries outside North America but please do keep an eye out for rabid American and Mexican patriots trying to sneak up on you with murderous intent.

Figured I ought to loosen up my legs and do a bit of fast running. Time comprises warmup, cooldown, and bum kicks and B's with 9x100m strides interspersed. I'd enter it as three workouts in three zones but can't be bothered.
