Brecksville. 50s, hard rain yesterday, drizzle on and off today, earlier this week some massive flooding (which really eroded a lot of stream beds (4-5' walls). Epunch, Hendrix design (he is improving). The red course was 7.1 and had some major steep climbs so I drew both the red and green courses to give me options (i'm not in shape for a long hard one yet, they shared the same first 5 controls). I was slow and rusty, and didn't hold bearings well. Also, very slippery conditions in this steep environment, and lots of water to fall on my map and glasses. I hit control 5 at 30 minutes which meant a 2 hour forecast, so I bailed out to green. UP to that point the controls were excellent. After that they got easier (even to white level), and often encouraged travel through private property. Felt good overall, nice day to be out

Milwaukee on research trip. easy run on urban streets to explore the area. no calf problems, and neck is gradually better- not fixed yet, but improving/.

Spent almost all day standing bending and such to process about 1000 plants today (3 blocks). Another 1000 to be done with stage 1, then if time permits, harvest the 'neighbor' plants (about 4000 to do). We'll see how that works. Tired, not too sore at day's end
