Late today went to PT and they gave me a traction thingy to stretch the neck and vertebrae - that was one of the things that seemed closest to working a few weeks ago. I feel silly, but I'll give it a try.

Control checking at Octagon - mildly breakable snow crust, high 20s. I ran very gingerly both to protect myself from slipping, and to avoid over working the calf. No problems with calf, although some of the trails near the ledges were very slick ice under a thin coat of snow. Ran for perhaps 2-5 minutes at a time, walked the rest. Most control locations will work
