Oak hill south end - aiming to play with contours and reentrants to prep for pig. Not very fast because of the steep and slippery hills. Good nav for the most part. 50F, cloudy, pleasant. No veg out except skunk cabbage and floerkea. At end did ~4 accelerations through woods totalling about 3.5min. Felt ok on those, and overall today, but a bit sore from yesterday

Kendall lake with DaveK. 50F, sunny, wonderful day to be out! And a great training exercise - one of us ran without map or knowledge of destination, the other went behind and directed. Surprisingly good at forcing both of us to think about the process. We should do this more often!
After half an hour I was really puffing, but really loved it. I won't be fast or strong at the pig, but at least i'm recovering and enjoying time in the woods. saw a potential patch of carex stricta south of the 'distinct tree' bob has on the northern trail from the parkinglot
