In basement after the school day. Temps still in teens, and with slightly lessened calf knot, this was my only option. Calf gradually better, but not gone yet. hmmmm. Rollers were less agonizingly boring today, but still a pain. And i don't seem to be able to keep my rpms up (like last time). i'll assume it's lack of practice, not permanent deterioriation

In market to union, back on market. Would have biked but enough snow and potential ice i didn't. Blustery and cold but good footing. On return about a mile from home suddenly had a knot or cramp in right calf. Stretched, didn't get better, walked 100m and stretched, (and by then was off the uphill) and was enough better to limp home. Still tight hours later after lots of stretching. hmmm. am i just fragile now?

Tp in crosby back. 60 high today with a freakishly intense but brief wind and rain storm just after I arrived at school. Felt slow but ok both ways

Temp Stand up desk working ok but I will need to work up to all day

Nasty icy rain this am, and i am a little sore today (mostly inner thigh/groin). But while walking from car to office felt tiny bits of the hip problem i developed last year at this time. I think this is the result of trying to aggressively xc yesterday, with a stronger extension. I will back off until that is better, stretch etc. as i did then. sigh. I may be forced to no longer try to ski fast.
Later that day: i have set my work area up temporarily as a standing desk, hoping that will help ankle problems and everything else. So far so good. I kind of like the setup.

Beaver marsh north past szalays to bridge after mile 26. Good glide on minimal coverage. Rain expected tonight, so this is the end for a while. Pushed one of the miles, decent effort the rest. Felt pretty good, though right elbow acted up a little. Minor ankle lock this evening. I forgot to wear my ankle brace yesterday and today.
