Crutches. Still prorated, but I'm doing a little less time each day, and getting stronger and cleverer about them so it's not quite so exhausting. They definitely help a lot - when i did some unassisted walking, even being careful, i needed to ice down afterward.

Stretch and situps. The rx stretches hurt in ways that worry me so I'm backing off those
Crutches on campus - much less today. tried not to move around much, and felt pretty good. BUt when I got home and vacuumed etc, still sore. I will keep using crutches for longer walks on campus
Crutches all day- seriously sore upper body. Returned to dr am, she confirmed that if I'm still getting worse we need to get some phys ther. Also learned that it really hurt to raise leg from flat on my back. Lucklly, got dr eval appt for PM. Xrays indicate 'hip impingement'. Rx pt but can't fitr in their schedule until next week. Got some hip stretches to do in the meantime. Dr kerr advised walking instead of crutches when it doesn't hurt. Recovery may take a month or more. Still not sure quite what's wrong with the hip. I am not happy but at least something is happening
Cutches all day which kept leg from hurting, but climbing stairs etc still making me hurt, maybe even getting worse. I had hoped holding back all weekend and today would give improvement but no luck. Set up dr appt for tomorrow. Arms and shoulders sore from crutches
