Running 53:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:177.5lbs shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS9-2

Feeling a little sniffly AM, but a decent run in (still, decided not to do any more tempo or intervals). By evening i found definitely have a cold. Shortly after starting return run a major thunder and lighting storm came through, and I was ankle deep on every road crossing. Felt fine running, but after stopping the cold came back.

BikeCommute 40:00 [2]
slept:8.0 weight:178.5lbs

Slept with the dogs last night, and for once got a full night's sleep, without any whining at 12, 2, and 4 the way it's been for weeks now. I think Johnny is just lonely.

Running intervals 26:53 intensity: (10:00 @2) + (8:30 @3) + (8:23 @5)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS9-2

After biking to work. Trying to get back on the training plan - 4x600 with 600 jog. It was interesting to have so much more rest between intervals, and so few - i tried to push a little harder, but probably could have done more that way. I wasn't properly warmed up by the bikeride in, and the 3 minutes from work to track didn't do enough (and i was pressed for time so didn't do more). Quads were pretty stiff first round, but got back online after that. Still, that's dangerous and I need to just put in the time.

BikeCommute 45:00 [2]
slept:7.0

used pen computing all day today, and pain is much less. In fact, sitting down to do this and using a mouse generated upper arm discomfort. I need to correct all ergonomics in my office. I'll also avoid mice next couple of days

Orienteering 25:00 [3]
11c slept:8.0

Set last few controls then supervised rampage. went very well. Planned to Spend lots of time Collecting controls, but great volunteers covered that.

Some review on the Reentrant Rampage:
Time investment:
vetting: probably 10-20 hrs for me, about that for John as well
(Loads of time talking with John)
Control setting: for me, about 4 hours in 2 days before the event, about 1hr day of. For John, probably closer to 10 (southern end).

Control Collection:
Kostansek and 2 helpers: ~3hr each, cleared out southern end up to about 2 ridges south of parkview.
Ken: 2hr for ~8 controls
Brad: 1.5hr for about 5 controls
John - 15 minutes for ~3 building controls from car
Howard - probably 15 controls in north and middle of map - maybe 3-6hr? He was going to go on Sunday and monday in his leisure time.

Overall, man-hr investment was about 30hr vetting, 15hr setting, 16-20 for pickup.
Those are useful numbers to have in mind if we try this again.
