First ski at Portage Lakes State Park. Surprisingly nice - gentle and open trails, foot-packed but smooth enough to glide some. Temp over 35, so used waxless skis which definitely have less glide. Used Heath's pocket GPS to add trails to the map - did both main loops.

hitched a ride with karen to the dermatologist, and after 3 liquid N applications, ran 8 minutes to school. On return (some fresh snow) tried to keep fast leg tempo

With Bob B at oak hill. overcast and colder but still good conditions. I mostly worked on technique, and did worse than I'd hoped or expected
