Homerun for the homeless. Beautiful, clear, slightly chilly day. Giant crowd (>2500), and the start showed that - walking to the first bend, and not going beyond a trot until most of the way to the freeway; in fact, though the crowd is usually thinned out by the freeway, it was thick around the curve, and even in the cemetary i got caught in traffic a couple of times. I probably lost about 1-2 minutes total to crowd issues. Did better at maintaining position uphill than usual, and gained lots on downhills. The last mile was easier to push than usual (not so much expended early on). Not a great pace, partly due to crowds, partly due to lack of training. Very fun agina.
