Orienteering 30:00 [1] ***
spiked:2/2c slept:7.0 weight:173.5lbs shoes: Innov-8 mudclaw 330

With BuckeyeBob to Hinckley to figure out what happened with control 6. Mostly walking, but close attention to map

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3] *** 7.0 km (12:51 / km) +220m 11:07 / km
spiked:5/10c shoes: Innov-8 mudclaw 330

Continued at s. end of brecksville with Buckeye. Control picking and comparative route time. Pretty slippery and damp. Only 2 real mistakes, but lots of minor mixups with this thick vegetation. The steep and (today especially) slippery slopes, around was often a lot better than straight down and up. Even if around was 3x as long.

Trail Run 1:05:22 [3] 6.2 mi (10:33 / mi) +165m 9:44 / mi
slept:7.0 weight:174lbs shoes: Innov-8 mudclaw 330

With buckeyebob at kendall lakes - big loop. gorgeous day, warm, great to be out. Nice to run with someone for a change. I thought we were going to do O practice, but miscommunication. THis was a chance to try the mudclaws as trail shoes. Worked well, though a tad less padding than I'd like (and there was grip and to spare - more than needed for this well travelled trail). route: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1284661
