snowed another 8" overnight, school and university canceled, which means..... ski to UA! It sounded better than it was. it was almost sierra cement, and I broke trail both ways, so there was never any glide. Still, the worst skiing is better than anything else. On way in, no roads were fully plowed, so crossings were easy, and after MLK roads were mostly deserted so I could ski on the road and get at least a tiny bit of glide. On return, had to take skis off at a few of the major roads as salt had arrived. Winds had mostly filled a lot of my tracks, so it was just as much work, and climbing memorial... that snow was so heavy (and I was already a bit beat) that it was a complete step-by-step slog.Time for trip in: 1:28.

Bruegger's to indian mound. Snow is marginal, with bare spots starting to show. Never got in the rhythm.
