A few hours of bog transects and last vibi plot. This morning i intended to run, but had little time again, and more to the point, my ribs really hurt (and for the second night i couldn't sleep much because of poison sumac). It feels like i was punched really hard on the side. Not sure what it is - pulled muscle? In any event, coughing hurts and i'm going to cancel running until i figure this out

Last day of 2 days in the core bog. I did all kinds of gyrations and gymnastics to work through these difficult plots, and that evening noticed some soreness on right ribs. pulled muscle?

Yesterday visited Doc Brandon. Xrays show good healing, he says the only problem now would be twisting the ankle; it'll be stronger by september, and maybe even by December.
So, this morning I went out in the neighborhood. I felt weak and slow (3 months off, and obviously biking and the gym aren't enough). 4 min on, 1 off. Felt ok afterward.
