Warm day. eton+. felt a little stronger. Neuro 1/10. Sliver in left foot has been more and more distracting over last 2 weeks. too deep and in awkward place to pull myself, will probably require digging around.

Pm, a few hours after a couple of hours walking at panzner in muckboots without orthotics. Most uncomfortable neuroma in months (4/10). it slowly got a little better, but still near 2 at end. almost turned back after 2 minutes

Thawing, so ran on campus to avoid ice. Doc said to ease into running with the orthotics, so i kept it short. Neuro 0.5/10 (maybe a twinge; about equally due to orthotics and the massive pillows that are Hoka shoes). I'm happy. however i was really slow and sore - i don't think i get much cardio from my anemic skiing.

Temps finally above 19, and footing better (I've been busy and weather uncooperative last week). No zip in my step but good to be out.

NOTE - orthotics arrived earlier this week, only wearing in street shoes for 4 hr first day, 5 next.... Doc said to wait a week or two before running with them, and to get shoes fitted for them

Cold (8F with some wind), but not quite enough snow to ski. Bruegger's to indian mound. Neuro 0/10. felt ok, but about half way lost some of the zip in my step
