Orienteering 50:28 [3] 4.67 km (10:49 / km) +165m 9:11 / km
US Champs Middle at Vasquez Rocks. Official course distance = 2.9k
This was a lot of fun. The rocks were very intimidating before we started...I was a little scared. But it wasn't too bad once you were in it. I just got too low on two controls and paid the price of having to climb. And when you're out of shape, that's a pretty steep price.
It was sooo much fun to hang around afterwards, though, in that beautiful scenery, with incredible views and so many good friends to catch up with. Truly a spectacular afternoon!
