Pt. Reyes Wildcat-Sky-Coast loop from Paolomarin.

Probably the best run ever. Starts along the edge of 200ft sea cliffs, then climbs inland through redwood forest and steep hills, descends flowy singletrack with great views, then back along sea cliffs and a big arch on the beach, up an amazing ridge back to the forest, then down along the beach running by a waterfall (had the whole 2mi stretch of beach to myself...), up to a lake with a rope swing (did a normal jump and a backflip... aww yeah.), and back through big eucalyptus to the trailhead.

Remained totally stoked and going fast (9-10min/mile) until mile 16-22 when I got bored and my right leg started tweaking out on my IT band and behind the knee. Luckily there was such a variety of sweet terrain, I rekindled the stoke at the top of the last mountain (22.5mi) and pulled hard until the end. The rope swing at mile 27 was like a burst of adrenalin.

In conclusion, I think I have found the pinnacle of running locations. No big deal, but it's freaking awesome. Even got some rally driving in on the way to the trailhead with a scandanavian flick or seven. Still gotta work on the 180 hand break turn into the parking spot though...

Last long run on my training schedule. SUPER STOKED FOR TAPERING!!!

Skyline to Sibley Volcanic Preserve Loop

Epic fog, with like 20ft visibility at some points. Got lost on purpose, just kept running, and ended up in a park. I found a map at a trailhead, ran some more (felt really good to be reading a map while running again...), and eventually found my way back.

Jumped a total of seven fences and climbed a water tower. Pretty good run.

Running 35:00 [3] 3.8 mi (9:13 / mi) +300ft 8:34 / mi

Around Strawberry Pt, and monkey bar pullups.
Way more tired than I should be, and kinda sore.

Climbing: Rock 2:00:00 [4]
shoes: Red Mocs

Mt. Tam, Leaning Tower.
Pretty tired, just not feeling it physically or mentally today. Even KDrew couldn't get me psyched...
