Bad news: Partners bailed on the Trap Pk FA party this weekend at the last minute.
Good news: I passed my EMT class.

Out & back bofax, just fun fast driving. Codriver w/ pace notes would make it much faster.
Practice on asphalt 90s & hairpins, focusing on handbrake through the apex. Pretty fast onto the dam now.

PM dirt couple hours of practice hairpins, linking "and" turns with delayed weight transfer, and handbrake 180s on tight roads. Very dry, dusty conditions.

PM Reverse stage for time on the way out.
2.1k in 1:39 (76/46 avg k/mph)
Fucked up the 90 on turn 5 and almost went into a ditch. Could easily cut off another 5-10sec with a clean run.

I need brighter headlights! Also possibly a camera so I can review my shitty wheel technique...

Salt Point race for my Mom's birthday. 7th place for me, and my mom won the women's!

So unprepared for running fast. 8:32 avg pace for the first 10mi lap, then slowed down a lot on the hill in the second 6mi lap. I really pushed the hills up AND down, and I was totally dead at the end. Never ran so fast downhill. Knees started hurting around 10mi.

I need more training volume before I'm ready for another ultra.
