Ride with Grant and Dave.

I bit the dust on the way up the heritage trail. When grabbed Grant's tow rope I managed to be slightly leaning to the right but had my front wheel just over lapping Grant's back wheel, so I couldn't correct my lean and slowly went down.

Grant had already managed to break the tow rope on my bike. On the way back the left over end of the tow rope was dangling around my seat post, soon after my chains start doing some weird slipping. Just after Grant fixed a flat and we were ready to move on again, I noticed the last bit of bungy cord from the toe rope was nicely entwined in my rear cluster.

Got attacked by a dog just north of the trotting complex. It got my arm but didn't bite, not sure if it was seriously going for me and yelling at it put it off or it wasn't really attacking. I go past there all the time and never seen the dog before, kinda rottie build but lighter colour.

Time to start building up some training. So got out after lunch whilst the kids were elsewhere.

Was feeling the effort a bit after a few k's. By around 6 k's my upper abs were doing there being really tight thing, which I get a feeling must happen when I haven't been training much. Had a little walk then took it extra easy the rest of the way.

Got my fitbit HR yesterday with the aim of tracking my resting HR to see if I can judge when not to train based on a higher resting HR. But I'll ignore the resting HR it calculates and just pick a number around the bottom of my sleeping HR graph and record that as RHR on AP since there's a box for RHR but not sleeping HR.

Last time I recorded sleeping HR about 3 years ago I came up with a sleeping HR of 42.

Not sure about the accuracy of the sleep tracking, looks like it might have counted 20 mins of getting ready for work time, when I'd taken it off for a shower, as sleep time. Will have to have a closer look later.
