Running 33:45 [3]

Short run on the soft ground until I hit the bike path. The animals were really friendly today, too. I was about 5 meters away from a pileated woodpecker, and probably less than one meter from a rabbit. It didn't even run away, either, but it looked a bit nervous.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Beautiful day, felt pretty good the whole time (better on the second half, but only by a little), and only felt my arch on literally one step.

Running 1:10:00 [3]

My arch only hurt running up one steep hill, but not at all other than that. Started feeling good after 25:00, but pretty slow before that.

Running 32:00 [3]

Felt REALLY slow and REALLY weak. I think my strides were longer than normal, too. I also wore different shoes entirely (same as my sneakers but not so worn-down), and while I could tell my arch wanted to be frisky, it hardly bothered me at all.

Running hills 4:40 [3]

5 Hills: 15, 16, 15, 15, 15
Because grr to weakness.

Running 28:00 [3]

I think the hills (and spitting out some sugar/saliva combination), reset my running and I felt much better for the rest of the run.

Running 38:00 [3]

My left arch hurt for most of the time, so I cut my run short. I tried to stay on the softest surface possible the entire time. I didn't even wear my bad shoes.

Orienteering race 35:51 [3] *** 4.48 km (8:00 / km)
14c

Fastest time on the course. Nailed the first three controls and everything went smoothly after that. I had been focused since I woke up in the morning, and I payed very close attention to what the terrain was doing around me. I did not run faster than I could navigate, but that might have been because of all of the rocks, hillsides, and climb which made running difficult. All of my training has prepared me for a brutal course, though, so I managed to go hard until the very end, where I posted a faster split than Erin in the finish chute. Good day.

Orienteering race 19:27 [3] 2.37 km (8:13 / km)
16c

Could have been better, but I ran hard and took some risks.

Running hills 2:40 [3]

4, because Erin is mean...

Core 11:00 [3]

Because Erin is a cruel man, but I like core.
