Ride over to Curtin for the Nav Dash. Really need to lube my chain as it was making really awful noises.

First sprint event of the season. Ran ok except for number 9 which I looked in the wrong place for then finally read my descriptions, 11 where I thought I there was a gap in the fence but there wasn't and 16 where I headed off towards the oval before realising I was on the wrong side of an uncrossable fence.
Was getting to the control circles fine but then stuffing around looking for the controls - something to do with very little orienteering practice.
Was followed by a guy for most of the course which was a bit of a worry considering I wasn't really navigating that well but it did make me try and run faster.
Course was tricky at the end especially when my brain was trying to turn off but just got there.

Ride home from work, the seabreeze was trying really hard to come in but not really making much of an impression so it was still pretty warm. Roll on the weekend and only high 20's.
Ride in from Bold Park Pool to work - only got counted 7 times which was a bit disappointing I was aiming for double figures.

Warm up from Bold Park Pool then 4 terrain loops E,H,E,H with varying recoveries. Had other things on my mind and ran like crap.
Still at least I turned up.

Went for a ride out at Forsyth Mills did 2 laps pretty slowly and then a third. Lots of people out today and just before the end on the third lap I came across a girl who had impaled herself on her brake lever.
Had to talk to the ambulance dispatcher and then go back to the carpark to get her friend to wait for the ambulance and then back to wait with her. The ambulance was pretty quick and then they got the helicopter reasonably quickly too. Good reminder to always take your phone when out riding.
