Blue Hills Traverse.
30 minutes of extra socializing at the start as the maps were located. A bit underdressed, but survived.
Decided not to fight to keep the lead pack in sight, and settled into a pretty good pace. Probably took a sub-optimal route from 2 to 3, seeign a few others dogleg back out for the left route - would ahve been faster around to the right, either cutting through the forest just beyond the light green or going off the maps and taking trails.
Went straight to 4 - maybe faster out the the right on the trails?
10-11 - didn't force myself far enough left - to hit the trail, went just uphill of 13. Screwed up 12 - saw a nig boulder and went to it - to short,t hen into the marsh to another boulder until I figured out I shouldn't be in the marsh, but further south.
Blue shirt guy came up from behind on way to 18 - I cut over just after the earthbank, he kept on to the trail. He missed 18, nit sure high or low, I got up on top of knoll and was starting to get concerned until I looked a the clue and saw it way over the side.
19 was a major brain-fart. Scrambled up the steep part, but then stayed below the light green rather than go over to the trail. Blue shirt guy was ahead of me, until he asked first if I'd found 19 "no", "Oh, I mean 18", "Yeah it's down below the steep part". As he headed back down, I hit a likely looking area, but got sucked low by what looked like aknoll, then another then what about that thick area

Evening run to work out some frustration from work - mission accomplished...

Rather cool, but was dressed about right. Interesting going from fairly well sit streets and sidewalks onto the WOW trail that went from dim lighting to nothing - glad for even footing underneath.

Upper Body 1:00:00 [1]

Roofing. Replaced the roof on the new addition - wnet cheap the last time with lower grade nailed down roll roofing - was in horrid shape. Fortunately the Ice & Water Shield below is still fully intact.
Lugging 3 100 lb rolls up onto the deck then up the ladder onto the roof was tough - then a lot of fuss work and manhandling stuff around.

Hiking 45:00 [1]

Walk with the kids at Ahern while waiting for the sun to hit the roof and dry off the dew.

Always fun to see the world throught the eyes of a 5 & 6 year old.
