Team Trials Long. Decent effort physically but another poor orienteering performance (although a little better than saturday). Missed no. 4 about 3 minutes then a few more 1-2 minute mistakes. Total time loss somewhere around 10 minutes.

Run tempo 1:02:00 [4] 9.0 mi (6:53 / mi)

Ran around White Rock Lake in Dallas after today's meetings were done. Distance is not accurate, the running clubs map says 9.2 miles around the lake but that doesn't feel right. I may have missed a turn somewhere and shortened this. Warmed up at a fairly fast pace about 20 minutes, then ran 32 minutes trying to keep my heart-rate pretty constant around 160, then a 10 minute cool-down. Took some allergy medicine, as I seem to be having my usual annual reaction to oak pollen, but I felt kind of drowsy while running. Still a good work-out according to plan on a great evening (80 degF and sunny).

Run warm up/down 25:00 [1]

to/from the park where I ran intervals

Run intervals 30:00 [5]

After arriving in Dallas, I ran over to a park close to the hotel and did 6 x 2 min intervals, 1 minute rest between, then 6 x 1 minute, 1 minute rest between. Felt really good, better than expected.
