before work. have become unused to this again, so no intervals. quite hard work just going steady.

Linne jympa. Good! Quite like Wdnesday morning gym in Edinburgh, and something i should be doing more of. ankle a bit sore on some of the jumps, so didnt quite do everything.

to and from jympa (not far at all), some drills, then in Stadsskogen to pick up first Hittaut.nu points. tired. think i will pick up tomorrow tho

r ankle a bit swollen from yesterday but no big problems with movement or pain. might take it pool running tomorrow to be on the safe side...

As usual got hardly any sleep (did try, but was cold, hungry and could hear the commentary) and body not feeling the best. so went for a recovery spin...

Jympa 35:00 [3]

... and some jympa. this didnt help recover so much but was quite fun. will take an easy day tomorrow, expecting to feel it most then.

Tiomila leg 5. Complete contrast to Friday, I was so keen for this. got lost on way to start (tapes not so clear, trying to fold map as big as me). 2 misses (1 and 7 i think?) and some smaller hesitations. a long way behind the fastest time. clearly need to get better, but with technique and running.

but enjoyed this so much, amazing to run with a pack of really fast girls and not only keep up but take the lead and try to get away from them, also knowing that i was only in our second team. it didnt work and i twisted my ankle close to the end, so lost them a bit. will go through it properly later. but i didnt really stop smiling all day, before or after the race :-)

Silva League in Linköping. The other kind of bad race, the worst kind! A long time in quarantine spent getting beyond the right amount of nerves. Heavy feeling in body meant it felt like no fun :-( also made some stupid mistakes, especially after the spectator section when i was just thinking about how shit i was feeling. such a long way from how good i felt on Wednesday :-(

Another kind-of rest day, lots of stuff to sort out in town, not least buying a kaffebryggare. easy in Nåsten, with Elisa at first but she was out for a longer run.

Lunsen. On the long course today, and not disappointed. What a forest! went really really well for the first half. then got a bit complacent and just enjoying the terrain, so not too clean at the end. will have to avoid this in races but tonight i couldnt help it, so lovely! :-D

Bit of a rest/easy day, need to make sure i have enough of these between races. also moving into new flat, taking up time and energy. made it to F&S though, they have nearly everything CSE has (even TRX :-) )
