more later. Good course. Lots of fun. At least 3 errors of maybe 10 minutes. {edit: going with the attackpoint "splits" view for errors on 6, 8, 15, but not the other two (1 minute) errors---This gives me about 16 minutes of errors. The error on 8 is probably a bad crossing and hesitations in the green.}
I'm not sure about my long leg route---I misread one of the crossings, but I don't think my choice would have been different. I just didn't see any good routes for the long leg (7-8). We had only been in a bit of green up to this point, and it seemed to me the choice was climb or green. I was worried about climb, and I just couldn't believe (at the time) that the course setter would want me to go through all that green. It wasn't terrible, but I was grumbling. Afterwards, I spent a few minutes looking for a better long leg, and nothing stuck out at me, so, while I grumbled at the time, hindsight says it was a worthwhile long leg.
I started slowly, with HR of about 140, but in the third hour, it was just 160-ish most of the time (I think). Very tired at the end.

Wow. Hard. I had some butterflies for several of the greener legs. Really easy to screw this up and have a huge split or two. Over and over I would look at the contours and see them inverted (reentrants seemed like spurs and vice versa).
