Opted not to go up to Hale today, got a lot of work to do here, and yesterday's run at Weeks Woods, while enjoyable, was pretty lackluster - so might as well spend a couple weeks just going easy around here.

Planned on an easy 5, started out easy for a half mile, then elected to try and chase down Gary who had gone out at a faster tempo in prep for Manchester. Didn't quite catch him at 2.5 but only 15m or so back. But that was all I had, so back half back to easy with a few walk breaks. Upper chest very tight for this.

Picked up and deployed the first ton of pellets to the basement. Two trips, half ton each. Considered getting the 2nd ton today, but opted to wait until next week. Even though I set the Garmin to 'Walk' for this, AP correctly figured out what I was doing and assigned it to strength.

overcast, 42f. Warmer than it was Sunday AM when I went out, but today just felt raw. And 1000m out my body just wasn't feeling it. No real complaints, but just completely dead. And then Garmin chimed in with a 'performance condition' of +3 which usually occurs when I'm feeling pretty good so elected to just turn it around and shuffle home. Didn't even sweat enough to warrant showering. Just back to photos and magazine stuff. Try again in the morning.
