Some friends have been doing the Sufferlandia videos this week but I'm too cheap so was watching a cycling video from UTube. Nice European scenery but supposedly a cadence video. Had cadence target on screen but I could tell by looking at the riders shadow that the rider certainly wasn't doing those cadences and on downhill he was coasting (a lot). Also don't have a cyclometer so manually counting against stop watch. Hard to tease out 5rpm increments by hand. After a while just went by feel and would kick it to harder gears for higher rpm for the workout. May just go back to watching concert videos with fartlek style intervals during guitar solos. :-)

Up frequently during the night to monitor & adjust greenhouse. Time to get dressed and face snow removal phase the first. And go fetch more stove chow from breezeway. Without venturing out looks like about a foot so far, but cold & dry and light winds 10-12mph all night mean risk of power issues greatly diminished..whew... I don't mind being snowbound, but dealing with no power sucks...
