Enjoyed riding my bike with Hayden yesterday, so decided I'd go for a longish bike ride today instead of running. Over to Rockville, picked up the rail trail and rode down to 7-11 in Andover. Then turned around and rode back. Very pleasant day out, hastily packed supplies - took water and electrolytes but no carbs - feeling pretty spent by the end. Had some minor issues with both fenders - rear one rubbing a bit, eventually bent the stays enough to minimize, front one kept coming loose on the dirt roads coming back by lake. May take them off altogether.

So post ride, cleaned up the bike a bit, lubed what needed lubing, removed the fenders for now, also took off the kickstand - handy when working on bike, but I rarely use it when riding as it tends to sink into soft ground. Put the GPS mount back on since I had taken it off when I was thinking of selling it last year. Tightened up the mesh on the seatback. Spring cleaning sorts of things I probably should have done before going for my ride..

Another gorgeous Saturday morning run. 28F headed out the door, but strong spring sunshine made things nice. Frost, mist and signs of spring everywhere. Legs felt fine, though crash residuals still evident.

legs achy again this AM - not sure what's going on. Quite similar to some of my past lyme symptoms, but they haven't felt this way in quite a few months. Felt crappy enough that I didn't even bring the running stuff to work with me - perhaps I'll feel more inclined later on.

Easy jaunt between dentist appointment and picking Jackson up. No zip in the legs, but hadn't eaten since 5am either. Both legs still a bit achy from Sundays crash, but only when running, but could feel every footplant.
