Traprock 50k course - about a dozen folks in attendance. Nice AM to be running, glad to have a double digit run on the books after a pretty lousy month.

{edit} My track is not the official course. Just before 14km mark, there was a trail junction - straight ahead crossed over and followed the Metacomet in a figure 8, but I was described the course as a loop - so I opted to stay west of a large marsh, which put me back on the stretch of trail (old broken road) that we came out on. A very nice course though - initial stretch on old broken park road, then single track on the ridgeline, up to Tariffvile, back via some nice double track where you could open up your stride a bit, then finishing with a final bit of single track (the part I missed).

Up to Dougs to pick up the car, in street clothes and fleece jacket. Didn't feel like running, so I didn't change and decided to walk up instead. Got about 2 minutes down the road and decided that was stupid, its quicker to run. Definitely overdressed, chest very tight, legs achy again. But something worthy of a log entry I guess.

A nice pre-dawn run w/ Bruce at Crandalls. Random combination of trails including losing a vague trail up top and doing about 2 minutes of orienteering until things made sense and I knew where I was heading. Things look a bit different in the dark and with a lot of spring run-off that's not usually there.

Run was particularly notable in that there was no sign of my usual fatigue and malaise - I felt strong all the way around including the uphills and felt I could have continued for quite a while. Hopefully this marks a turning point in my current Lyme and that things will improve from here.

felt pretty good today, less tired, fewer aches. Didn't get any exercise in, nor does tomorrow look good but hooking up with Bruce on Thursday morning for a short run. Then hopefully doing a 10 mile training run on the Traprock course Saturday AM.
