8am run - gorgeous day, kept having to slow myself down since I want to stick to easy efforts for a while since my immune system is whacked.

Late afternoon walk with the family. Very pedestrian pace...

(sick)

Another 3 weeks of Doxycycline, drew more blood to retest for Ehrlichiosis and Babesiosis. Doctor thinks I may have a coinfection along with the Lyme.

Would have been an easy day to blow it off - low 60's, showery. But dragged my stuff out and hit the trail 5 minutes after the park officially opened at 6am. No one else there. Duh.

When I pulled in I could see that the upper part of the hill was shrouded in clouds, had a very White Mountains feel to it. Pretty dim in the woods at this hour and under these conditions and particularly up on the mountain it was tough to see footing clearly at times. Outer loop CCW, managed to run the entire hill with no walking or wagon steps in under 10 minutes which is pretty decent for me when I am in shape. Decided I was feeling good so headed off on some lesser trod trails to the NW, wound up off the map (not that I had one) in some swampy back yards and bushwacked across to where I knew where I was and ran off trail for 7-8 minutes until picking the trail system back up.

Felt surprisingly brisk for my lack of exercise though I'm sure the real pace will be rather disappointing. But I got out and it wasn't a total suffer fest...
