Run - Road (Webster) 45:00 [3] 7.85 km (5:44 / km) +140m 5:16 / km
rhr:51 slept:6.0 shoes: Adidas Response Trail XI

Had a little time in the AM, so snuck out the door for a quick road run up Webster and back. Felt pretty good going up the hill but feeling pretty tired by about 20 minutes or so. Slow jog for about 5, then most of the way back did utility pole intervals - ran full out for one pole, then walked the next one - occasionally ran two poles (they aren't uniformly spaced). The legs felt great, its the cardiovascular capacity thats really hurting these days...

Bike - Road (commute) 1:05:00 [3] 25.0 km (2:36 / km)
rhr:53 slept:8.0 weight:77.1kg shoes: Cannondale ST1000

drizzly, patchy fog. first commute entirely in the dark. First 40 minutes or so all I could see was what was in the beam of the headlight, after that I could dimly percieve things along the sides of the road. Nice thing about riding back roads at that time of day is I could just take the middle of the road for myself and knew well in advance of any oncoming cars and could pull back to the side before they got to me... The only annoyance was the occassional house with HID lights blaring all night - really irritating to get used to the darkness to have all that light spoil the peacefulness of rolling along - and for no good reason either...

Bike - Road (commute) 45:00 [3] 20.0 km (2:15 / km)

ran late at work, so home via the direct route - fighting traffic on 195.....

out to the lake with Hayden on a nice afternoon. Two 10 minute rides separated by quite a bit of playing along the receded shoreline...
