Rogaine (CNYO Rogaine) 4:45:00 [2]

Managed to keep some food and fluids down overnight (no sleep though) and felt well enough to go out and attempt an easy loop of controls near trails in the north. Got 10 more and got in about 11:30 - now I felt just as bad as last night, except now it was mid-day and hot out... Sucks to be me...

Rogaine (CNYO) 10:15:00 [3]

CNYO Rogaine w/ Tom Skrocki. Hot, but started out fine, moving well but not pushing too hard early on. Drinking plenty, electrolytes etc, then about 4:30 the GI tract started shutting down (the bane of my inability to handle heat) No more water or fluids or solids in. Knew I was in trouble by about 7, headed back to HH to recover for Sunday. About 8pm all major muscle groups in both legs cramped simultaneously.. This was bad... Got back to the HH shortly after 10... pukin, crampin... Almost as bad as WRC in '98.

didn't help that I'd been battling summer cold & flu symptoms the past few days

Finished mapping in the Sweet Alice Conservation Area. A day or so of drafting and we should be ready to go to printers...

Run - Trail (Comma --> NVC) 12:39 [3] 2.3 km (5:30 / km)

BAck out of woods after mapping south of quarry. Went down to Comma Pond to map new bike trail.

finished up mapping south of quarry, also new bike trail back to comma pond. Only conservation land in north left to do - one more afternoon and its done.
