Tuesday Hills - wasn't feeling like running pavement so rode the bike to Fox Hill and rode my hills while others ran them. Certainly less pounding on the downhill. Cut it short at 8 climbs as I didn't want to overdo it on my first real bike ride in a very long time. And by the time I got home the tank was empty, really had to push through the last few gravel bits.

Fixed a loose brake lever, retaped the bars, aired up the tires and did a little quick dirt road spin. Some peanut butter mud, plenty of freshly laid gravel (they were laying it yesterday when I was running). Not very far, but wasn't really dressed for it either. Just verifying everything else works. Needs some lubrication, but otherwise all good..

Saw a new infectious disease doctor today. My last lyme panel did not meet the minimum CDC lyme criteria of 4 bands, but rather than calling it negative, this doctor feels that it is merely inconclusive and based upon other evidence, feels that lyme is still the culprit and it just wasn't eliminated with previous courses of antibiotic treatment. So we're off on a new 4 week course of oral antibiotics and if I don't see improvement in 6 weeks, we'll move into IV antibiotics.
